1. TERMS

What are the costs  for using RECOVA?

We do not charge any setup or monthly fees and only get a share of the additional revenue generated by us (CPO).

Is there a contract period?

We are convinced that our solution is so performant that it does not require any contract periods. So our cooperation can be terminated at any time.

2. Preconditions

Does my shop require a min. number of visitors or sales?

There are no minimum requirements for using our solution. However, to be fully effective, a certain level of traffic is essential. This is approximately in the mid to high four-digit range of monthly sessions.

Do I need a minimum number of products?

With the help of our recovery mechanism, we can even make the distribution of just one product more effective and help generate significantly more sales.

Can non-e-commerce business models also use RECOVA?

Our solution is suitable for any transactional business model and can therefore also be used for non-e-commerce business models.

Do I have to Integrate Through an affiliate network?

An implementation of RECOVA is also possible without an affiliate network. The implementation of our solution then takes place via JavaScript, while tracking is realised via UTM parameters and billing takes place manually.

Is technical know-how / programming needed?

No expertise or technical resources are required to use RECOVA. Our concierge service takes care of the creation of your Recovery Page and can have our solution implemented via existing integrations through common affiliate networks (e.g. AWIN Mastertag).

Do you "intervene" when navigating in the shop?

RECOVA only becomes active when a visitor would leave the website via the final click on the back button in the browser. The navigation through your online store itself is not interfered at any time, because our task is to rescue website visitors who bounce off and convert them into customers when they are actually already lost.

Does RECOVA downgrade  the UX?

RECOVA improves the UX of your online store by helping visitors fulfil their transactional user or buyer intent.

3. Onboarding & Integration

What's the onboarding process like?

Just confirm you're willing to work with us and we take care of the rest: We set up your Recovery Page and enhance it with our AI-fueled recommendation engine.

After you approved the Recovery Page, we can implement through the affiliate network tag or you integrate our JavaScript-code.

Who creates the Recovery Page?

We create your Recovery Page and boost it with AI-generated product recommendations and / or your top sellers.

How do you integrate?

Our solution can either be implemented through the existing scripts of the affiliate networks without any effort on your part, or you can integrate our JavaScript code directly into your website.

4. Data Privacy (TTDSG & GDPR)

Is personal data used?

Anonymized and personal data is transferred to RECOVA. RECOVA uses JavaScript and information in local storage to present relevant product recommendations. For more privacy-related information, please visit https://recova.ai/privacy-policy. 

5. Features & SEttings

How do you recover visitors?

Our solution re-engages visitors, that are about to leave your store. When they can’t fulfill their transactional intent and click the browsers back button to go back to their initial traffic source they get reffered to our so called Recovery Page.

On the Recovery Page our AI recommends the most relevant and performant product selection to the visitor in regard to the product that was looked at before.

Up to 30% of visitors get recovered and go back to your store.

Can I define trigger rules?

Our customers can specify static or dynamic rules according to which our Recovery Page should be displayed.

For example, it is possible to include or exclude certain traffic channels or to trigger only for dedicated URLs.

Is there a frequency cap?

We regulate the number of views of our Recovery Page that a specific user can receive within a defined time frame. By default, the duration of this frequency cap is 120 minutes. This can be freely changed.

Are you an exit intent solution?

We trigger your Recovery Page not on suspicion of intent, but when the back button is clicked in the browser.

Unlike classic exit-intent solutions, we also work on mobile and can therefore deliver even better performances.

Can I add a voucher?

Vouchers help to increase the effectiveness of our solution. So please feel free to provide us with a voucher code and we integrate it on your Recovery Page.

Where does the data for the AI come from?

Our artificial intelligence obtains the data for its recommendations from your website or a product feed provided by you.

How long does it take the AI to show improvements?

Our recommendations are already very performant at the start.

The speed with which the AI further optimises the product recommendations depends on the amount of information it can learn from: The more visits are generated, the more effective the recommendations become. 

6. TRACKING & ANALYTICS

How does the tracking work?

Tracking of the performance of our solution takes place either via the intermediary affiliate network or, in the case of direct integration, via UTM parameters.

Is there a dashboard to monitor your performance?

Currently there is no self-service for our solution. However, our solution can be seamlessly integrated into the affiliate networks through which we cooperate or with common web analysis tools.

When is a sale assigned to RECOVA?

If we are integrated via an affiliate network, the networks attribute the customers we deliver to our partners via "last click". 

What if several affiliate partners contribute to a sale in connection with RECOVA?

In the affiliate networks, the principle of "last cookie wins" applies most of the times. Previous cookies from other publishers are overwritten when a visitor clicks on a link on your Recovery Page. 

There is no multiple / double attribution for the merchant, which means no additional costs.

Does RECOVA influence my SEO efforts?

SEO is a game of user intents: Who ever satisfies intents best, wins.

As we help users to fulfill their intents more often, we even help your website to succeed in SEO.

Loading and rendering speeds are not influenced by our solution.
